hello stranger

Hello dear stranger.. 

This is quite literally my first attempt of taking up space, having so much to say but not enough courage to voice it pretty much sums up my 19 years of existence. 

My name is sharanya

and I think now is the best time for me to get out of my comfort zone & try & fail.. if that's what it takes for me to get over my fears.

I'm building this little place here as an outlet for my feelings and thoughts.

I am a very positive, optimistic, and probably the happiest person you can spot in any room

But when I sit down and open my journal, that's when my other side dominates. 

So this is me expressing my grey areas, i am not a writer or a poet, but i love to try

So let me tell you a few things about myself- 

I love animals, 

I find joy in talking to inanimate things, bugs and animals- it's never exhausting unlike with some people.. I have low tolerance for people who complain a lot and have nothing nice to say,

I love a warm cup of coffee, rainy days, but also harsh sunlight 

I have six books on my bedside table, all of them only read till page 6.

I'm not a fan of holidays, having no deadlines or routine to follow pulls me back into sleeping 10 hours a day and binge watching stuff i'd rather not watch 

I've noticed having a lot of free time forces you to meet yourself and Oh boy.. that girl is a lot of work ! 

If I have to I'd describe her in 5 words.. 

Unpredictable 

Intense 

Moody 

Somehow always tired &

Very passionate. 

She is very easily irritated, speaks only about a 100 words per day, hates when people chat loudly in the morning, practically runs on coffee, and only talks to 2 people 

But the more I observe her, the more I like her.. 

So here I am about to share her with you,

Think of this as a little door to her heart and mind

It won't always be pretty but I hope you recognise yourself in her because she's a very ordinary girl, the one you see in your class or at a bookstore sitting all by herself or talking to the same group of people.. but the thing is she has extraordinary dreams, and now a new obsession.. she wants to write, write and never stop 

I hope I touch at least some of you in this journey,
